Undergraduate students Emanuel Schuchter and Igor Tolentino, were awarded by FUNARTE through the workshop Strategies and ideas for teaching music with digital media: Elementary School I (https://abre.ai/clUx). Both students of the Music Degree course at the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG), Belo Horizonte, and are guided by Prof. Dr. Luiz Naveda.

The Funarte Arte em Toda Parte award awards video workshops that encourage practices and thinking aimed at visual arts, circus, dance, theater and music. The workshop created by the mentees suggests pedagogical dynamics strategies for teaching music at the elementary level, through accessible and free digital tools.

divided into 5 modules with a non-sequential path (presentation and 4 content modules), the videos in this workshop present strategies, examples of lessons and pedagogical assessment ideas, which are divided into the following topics: Presentation; Modulo 1: Basic Music Concepts; Module 2: Musical Practices; Module 3: Interdisciplinary Practices and Module 4: Free Examples. Besides that, an online reference was built, having a table of tools, classes and concepts for reference in preparing your music teaching dynamics, mentioned during the video.
