Some skills are essential for the researcher and even for the student who wants to pursue a scientific initiation. Our group works with topics on the threshold of scientific knowledge, we dialogue with several areas besides music and art, and with groups spread across different countries.
However we know that it is very difficult to obtain language training or programming skills without access to paid supplementary education or equipment. So we try to fill this deficiency with courses, projects and guidance.
Some of the recurring demands of our work are: English reading and writing, familiarity with spreadsheets, computer programming in any language, familiarity with collections and catalogs, excellent reading and interpretation, among others.
